About PitchDrops

PitchDrops started as a personal hobby project when I decided that I wanted to grow my own relative pitch skills but found that other ear training apps and websites weren't working for me. Many options felt too rigid, too academic, or lacked dynamic adaptability to a user's unique strengths and weaknesses.

To solve this, I built a custom, adaptive prototype designed to actively target my own learning curve. After discovering how effective this personalized approach was for my own relative pitch journey, I decided to share it with the world. PitchDrops was built to bring this engaging, mathematically optimized ear training to musicians everywhere.

PitchDrops' core philosophy is that ear training shouldn't feel like a chore. That's why we built a system that rewards consistency, adapts to your personal learning curve, and allows you to practice entirely at your own pace, on any device.
